From Idea to App Store: A Launch Roadmap

The step-by-step path we follow to take a white label or clone app from first conversation to live on the stores.

Launching an app is less mysterious than it looks. With a proven foundation, the work is mostly about making clear decisions early and testing thoroughly before release. This is the roadmap we follow with clients.

1. Discovery and scoping

We start with your business model, target users, markets, and any compliance needs. The goal is a clear scope: which features you need at launch, which can wait, and what the platform must integrate with.

2. Pick the right foundation

Based on the scope, we recommend the product to start from — a white label app, a clone model, or a custom build where nothing fits. See white label vs. custom for how we decide.

3. Brand and customise

Your logo, colours, typography, and app name go into every screen of the customer, provider, and admin apps. We then configure the features, pricing rules, and service areas your business needs.

4. Payments, maps, and integrations

Payment gateways, maps, notifications, and any third-party tools you rely on are connected and configured for your region.

5. Testing and quality assurance

Every workflow is tested on real devices: sign-up, ordering or booking, payments, notifications, and admin tasks. We fix issues before anything reaches your customers.

6. App Store and Play Store submission

We prepare store listings and handle submission for iOS and Android, including responding to review feedback so approval does not stall your launch.

7. Go live and support

After launch we stay involved with monitoring, fixes, and updates. For anything that comes up, our support team is a message away.

What to prepare before kickoff

  • Your brand assets: logo, colours, and app name
  • A list of must-have features for launch
  • Your target cities or markets
  • Payment providers you already use (if any)
  • Apple and Google developer accounts in your company's name
